White House makes AI incident reporting mandatory
Labs must report model security incidents at once and cooperate with law enforcement. No penalty has been set yet.

Following Anthropic's disclosure, the administration's Super Intelligence Force now requires AI companies to report model security incidents immediately, to remedy any harm caused and to cooperate with law enforcement.
No enforcement mechanism or penalty has been specified so far. Even so, it is the first concrete federal obligation placed on frontier labs that was triggered by the behaviour of AI agents.
