US stocks end the week near record highs
The S&P 500 rose 0.6% on Friday to 7,811.54, up 1.2% on the week and close to its record from three days earlier. The 10-year Treasury yield rose to 5.24%.

The S&P 500 gained 46.18 points on Friday to close at 7,811.54. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.8% to 51,654.95 and the Nasdaq composite rose 0.6% to 27,366.17, according to the Associated Press. The Russell 2000 of small companies fell 0.9% over the week.
The yield on the 10-year Treasury rose to 5.24% after several swings during the session. Brent crude ticked higher after erasing an early drop. The AP report gives no settlement price for Brent.
